9. Game Client Download and Usage

To play SRProjects, you must download and install our modified version of the official Silkroad Online v1.02 client, originally released in 2006. This fan-made version of the game client is based on the SilkroadOnline_GlobalOfficial_v1.02.exe, which was developed by Joymax Co., Ltd. The copyright for the original game is held by Joymax Co., Ltd., and as of today, ownership has been transferred to Wemade Max Co., Ltd.

This project is not intended for monetary gain; it is created solely for nostalgia and to preserve the original Silkroad Online experience. The game client is and will always be a free project, and there are no financial intentions behind its development.

By downloading and using the modified game client, you acknowledge that it is provided "as is," with modifications made for personal, non-commercial use. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the modified client, and you agree not to modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the game client.

All rights to the original Silkroad Online client are held by Joymax Co., Ltd. and currently owned by Wemade Max Co., Ltd. This fan-made project is not affiliated with or endorsed by the official owners.
